Prep ahead these high-fiber oatmeal apple muffins & get one for each day. Recipe here.

2. No Bake Chocolate Cookies

Two of these are all you need to satisfy your afternoon chocolate cravings. Recipe here.

3. Strawberry Smoothie Bowl (no banana & tastes like ice cream)

Smoothie bowl? Blah. Until I tried this one. It’s so, so, so good. Tastes like strawberry cheesecake ice cream. It’s perfectly sweet, vegan, gluten-free, paleo and all that without any banana or sweetener. And it’s ready in 5 minutes. Recipe here.

4. Easy Yogurt Bark

Only 4 ingredients to make this one – yogurt, honey, fruit and vanilla. Mix it in 5 minutes, freeze and it’s yours to eat. Recipe here.

5. Overnight oats

People eat overnight oats for breakfast, I often eat smaller portions as a snack. Makes for 2 snacks – morning and afternoon. Will reduce those sugar and peanut butter cravings and keep you satisfied. Recipe with yogurt here, vegan version – here.

6. Healthy Chocolate Rice Cake Bars

Another one for chocolate lovers! If you have some rice cakes you can make this recipe in no time, put it in the fridge and enjoy! Recipe here.

7. Yogurt with berries and nuts

Healthy and super satisfying little snack or breakfast. You can make this in 2 minutes and you don’t even need a recipe, but here’s one.

8. Healthy Banana Bread

This one is super, super easy as well. No flour, no sugar and still so so delicious! Perfect if you quit sugar, but still want something sweet. Recipe is here.

Healthy No-Bake Almond Butter Cookies

9. No Bake Almond Butter Cookies

Don’t know about you, but I’m pretty much obsessed with almond butter. It’s fine. I’m okay, especially when I make cookies like these. They’re super tasty, easy to make and only 4 ingredients. Recipe here.

10. Apple with peanut butter

I don’t actually do this one because raw apples make me wanna scratch my ears, but people swear by it. My version is a spoonful of peanut butter. Or two.

11. Banana Bites With Almond Butter

If you’re like me and can’t or won’t eat raw apples, this easy banana recipe might be better for you. It’s what the name says: banana with almond butter. Recipe here (if you need it).

12. A Smoothie

I know, you need to drink your smoothie within seconds so that antioxidants don’t die forever and ever. Truth is, there’s still more magic in a 6-hour old smoothie than in snickers. So make your smoothie in the morning and take it with you. Here’s one of my favorite smoothie recipes.

0-Calorie Healthy Snacks

These healthy foods are low in calories, nutrient-dense and perfect for when you’re gonna eat without even realizing it. I’m talking about when you’re watching TV or in front of the computer.

13. Radishes

That’s right, radishes! Radishes are a great snack if you crave something crunchy and spicy. They’re such an underestimated little vegetable and it makes me kinda sad that this anti-cancer food doesn’t get enough attention.

All you really need to do to prep radishes is wash them and then eat the red part. If you’re feeling really fancy, you can also slice the radishes and add some spice or vinegar.

14. Sliced cucumber with salt, vinegar/lemon juice and herbs

Sounds like the craving of a pregnant woman, but this is a great little snack you can eat in front of the TV instead of chips. Vinegar and lemon juice suppress appetite and cucumber is crunchy and delicious, so much better than chips!

15. Strawberries

Isn’t it amazing how strawberries are super delicious and have only 47kcal/cup. I mean… And then you’re good to go with your vitamin C, because you’ve just gotten your daily dose.

16. Watermelon

My favorite fruit and it has almost no calories. So fresh and so clean and also a good source of vitamin C.

Easy Healthy Snacks On the Go

These clean eating snacks are perfect for an in-between meal, when you can be more mindful and need something healthy to satisfy your cravings and to prevent you from overeating later.

17. Banana

Bananas might have more calories than most fruits, but they’re a great source of potassium and prebiotics to help out your gut health. My favorite part about bananas is that I don’t need to prep anything about them. No need to wash, slice or even wash my hands after peeling. So even if I forget to take a snack with me – banana’s always there to help a hungry girl out.

18. Almonds

The other food you can always rely on, even if you forget to take a healthy snack with you, are almonds. They’re a great source of vitamin E to make us age slower than a turtle, protein to get stronger than The Hulk and fiber to have better digestion than…tag someone who has great digestion. Plus studies show, if you snack on almonds in between meals you’re less likely to overeat after that.

19. Pistachios

Always and forever my favorite. If you ever crave chips, but want something better and healthier, pistachios are here for you to put a smile on your face. They’re again a great source of protein and fiber, which makes them perfect to satisfy your cravings and they’re a great source of Magnesium, vitamin B6 and iron.

20. Trail Mix

Make your own trail mix. Seriously. There’s nothing more disappointing than buying a trail mix and finding out it’s full of raisins. I mix some walnuts, almonds, cranberries and chopped dark chocolate. And if I’m feeling really fancy, I’d add some coconut shavings.

And that is it! These are among my favorite healthy snacks and now that I reminded myself how good almonds are, I’m gonna go get myself a handful of those, because I’m not getting younger.

I hope you enjoy these snack suggestions! If you do, make sure to subscribe via email for more tips, recipes and healthy ideas from me.

Hasta luego 🙂
