Article Guidelines

This guideline is in no way law, but is here to give respectable authors an idea of what is expected and abusive authors an idea of where the lines are drawn. The closer you follow these guidelines the faster your article(s) will be published.

Article Submission

Article Category

  1. We expect you to select the best category for your articles. Authors that continuously submit articles in the wrong category will be limited or denied access to article submission.
  2. You can contact us and suggest a new category be created, if you don't find one that fits your article.

Article Summary

  1. No links or text reference to links in this area.
  2. The 'Article Summary' is only for a short, catchy paragraph that's designed to pull a reader in and not used to advertise.

Article Content

  1. We prefer articles have a minimum of 300 words. Articles with less than 300 words may be declined or even deleted from the system (depends on article content and/or author submission history).
  2. We prefer that you keep your links out of the first two paragraphs of your article(s). If you have only one paragraph, then your article can have three links max, and they should be in your 'About The Author' resource area.
  3. We use a one link per paragraph rule on this site. This rule doesn't mean you're allowed to put one or more links in each paragraph. It means, if your article has 4 paragraphs, then you are allowed to have four links (total) in the article; this includes your signature. See item 2 above.

About The Author

  1. Your article resource area should have no more than three links.
  2. We do allow one affiliate link in this area, but that affiliate link needs to be clean. What is meant by clean is, the affiliate link should resemble a link to a site or page address and not a programmed (e.g. ?affiliate=superaff&affsite=someplace&product=bigmoney, etc.) link.

General Guidelines

  1. User names should resemble a real name. Credibility is important.
  2. Flooding. Flooding is acceptable, but discouraged. What this means is, you don't need to spread out the submission of articles over a long period of time. We realized that it's important to get your articles in front of your prospects ASAP.
  3. Accounts. We don't limit the amount of accounts that you can have, but it's to your advantage to keep your accounts to a minimum.
  4. Multiple Accounts. We don't like users with multiple accounts referencing the same sites. Using multiple accounts to promote the same sites will be considered spam and probably result in account limitations and article deletion.
  5. Content. All content submitted to this site becomes the property of this site. We can do anything we feel is necessary to your submitted content, including publishing, distributing, editing or other, but never changing the Author or content in a way that would remove credit or change the meaning that was originally intended.
  6. Unacceptable Articles. Pharmaceutical, hate, warez, gambling, nudes, adult oriented / related. Sales pitches, spam or advertisement based. Articles with direct links to downloads or poorly formatted articles. Articles that use short URL services. Articles that include links which are clearly unrelated or placed in a manor that makes no sense. Articles that promote other article directories.
  7. Original content. Submitted articles should be original content, and written by you.
  8. Cross Promotion. We allow cross promotion to most Social Bookmarking sites, but NOT to other article directories.
  9. Language. All articles need to be written in English.
